Do you find that your teeth are feeling thinner or have become worn down over the last five years? Do you have painful clicking or popping sounds in your jaw joints? Do you wake up in the morning with sore jaw muscles or an awareness of your teeth? If so, you may have a problem with the way your teeth fit together (occlusion).
There are a variety of treatment options available for bite and joint problems. Often these involve a multidisciplinary approach that allows us to build you a new bite in a more comfortable and functional position. This is called full mouth reconstruction or rehabilitation. Often we utilize orthodontic treatment, crowns, bridges, dental implants, bonded restorations, or a combination of these treatments to achieve the perfect bite and esthetics. Usually the treatment can be staged to make the cost of treatment and the amount of time spent at the office more manageable.
For many of our patients, a full mouth rehabilitation can be a life changing experience! You may not realize what you are missing until you are pain free and have a functional bite.
