Dr. Urban has now been on our team for 3 months, and from day one he has jumped right in and become part of the Okanagan Dentistry family. His easygoing personality, enthusiasm, attention to detail and genuine care for patients have made him a fantastic addition to our team. We’re already hearing such great feedback from our patients about their experiences with Ethan!

For those of you who haven’t met him yet, here are a few fun facts about Dr. Urban!
What made you want to become a dentist?
I spent more time at the dentist than your average kid as a tougher orthodontic case. What started as a fear slowly became curiosity. Then I shadowed a dentist during university and knew this was the career for me.
What do you love most about dentistry?
Building genuine, long-term connections with patients, while constantly learning and getting to work with my hands.
Coffee or tea?
Dark roast coffee with a little milk and sweetener.
Sweet or salty?
Definitely sweet. I have an insatiable sweet tooth!
What do you do when you’re not in the clinic?
I’m pretty active! Running, road biking, hiking, skiing, going to the gym and the occasional yoga class.
Where might Kelownites spot you?
Running through downtown, cruising around on my road bike, or carving down the ski hill beside you!
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you be?
Probably a pilot. I’d love to see more of the world!
