Our Team is Growing

This summer we will be welcoming Dr. Iain Hart to our team!  Iain was born and raised in Kelowna, so it is very special for him to return and build his practice in his hometown.  He is looking forward to giving back to the community that he grew up in by providing the highest quality dental care with Dr. Ian Leitch, Dr. Evan Wiens, Dr. Natashia Bose-Roberts and the rest of the team at Okanagan Dentistry.   Dr. Iain Hart graduated from McGill University at the top of his class and extended his training by completing a General Practice Residency based out of the University of Washington in Seattle.  This summer not only will he be reuniting with friends and family in Kelowna, he will be bringing along cutting edge dental knowledge from his residency.  We are all very excited to welcome Dr. Iain Hart!

We are also very pleased to have added three new people to our team in the past year.  Taylor joined our reception team and loves taking care of all your dental administration needs with a smile.  Our new dental hygienists, Olivia and Christina, are receiving rave reviews from all our patients who have had appointments with them. We are so thankful to welcome such a wonderful group to our office.

Dental Financing Options

Our office has introduced the option for dental financing through iFinance Dental, a Canadian dental financing company.  We believe that our patients should have options available to them to help them proceed with the dental treatment they need if cost is a concern.  Some comprehensive dental treatments may seem financially out of reach, so iFinance Dental is a great solution.  They offer a variety of financing terms with monthly payments.  Please ask us for more details at your next appointment.

Our Cancellation Policy

Okanagan Dentistry is committed to providing all our patients with exceptional care.  When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen.  We kindly request our patients call us by 12:00 NOON on the day prior to their appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations.  For a Monday appointment, our patients are asked to call our office by 12:00 NOON on Friday.

Restoring Your Teeth With Dental Implants

Do you have any missing teeth? The standard of care for replacing a missing tooth or teeth is now using dental implants.  There are often situations where a tooth cannot be saved – and it must be replaced. There are four ways to treat a missing tooth: do nothing (most people don’t want to do this!), make a partial denture (a removable device), replace the tooth with a bridge (not removable, but must be cleaned under), or use a dental implant.  Implants are a long term tooth replacement that acts nearly the same as your original tooth!  You can floss around them and they are virtually invisible. Most implant teeth are indistinguishable from your other teeth.  Ask us if you are a good candidate for tooth replacement using dental implants.
