Office Expansion!

We have a new and exciting change happening in the New Year Drs. Pada and Salaberry have sold their practice and will be leaving our office in the New Year. We wish them all the best in the future as they embark on the next stage of their careers.

As a result, Okanagan Dentistry will be taking over the entire space at 302-1500 Hardy St. This is an exciting development that will allow us to have more room to serve our patients. You will probably notice some improvements and changes over the next few months as we make the transition to the larger space in order to continue to grow our patient family.

Let us know if there are any changes to the office that you would appreciate as a patient as we are still planning the renovations and would love to hear your input.

Brushing and Flossing may actually Save Your Life!

A number of recent studies suggest that most of us have a readily available weapon to combat heart attacks, strokes, and other heart disease conditions. It is sitting on your bathroom counter and is none other than your toothbrush. People with gum disease are almost twice as likely to have heart disease. So paying attention to keeping your gums healthy by brushing, flossing, and regularly visiting your hygienist may pay you back with more than just a healthy smile. It may also save your life.

The Newest Addition To Our Team

As many of you already know, our hygienist Stacey has been on maternity leave. On June 23, Rorie Harper was born weighing in at 7lbs 5oz. Stacey and Rorie are doing great, and dad Tim is happy and sleep deprived! Stacey will be returning to work with us some time in the New Year, and we look forward to having her back. We know her patients will as well!

Introducing Laura and Aynslie

You might have noticed a few new faces around the office. With the growth of our practice come new opportunities for change. We have added to both our reception and hygiene staff. In reception we welcome Laura, who has worked with Ian in the past and has returned this fall with a new and exciting perspective. Laura is currently working Wednesdays and Thursdays; please say hello when you meet her if she does not beat you to it.

The newest addition to our hygiene team is Aynslie, who you might have seen on Fridays for the summer. She is now working with us Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with the addition of Wednesdays in the New Year. Her wonderful personality and excellent skills will knock your socks off and make your teeth squeaky clean.
